I’m not sure if it’s just me, but 2006 seems to have passed by really quickly, it’s been one busy year for me I finished my first year at university in July and passed with really good grades and got onto the second year.
Radio wise I guess I’ve been rather less active, but I think I can put that down to being at university and spending a lot of time doing work instead of being in front of a rig. I did manage to take part in quite a few radio events though in 2006 these include

- GB4MHS – Museum of the History of Science, Oxford – Marconi Exhibition
- GB150VC – Victoria Cross
- IARU HF World Championship – SSB LP as M3PHP
- MM3PHP/P Summer Holidays
- RSGB Region 1 SSB Field Day – G8PX/P
- RSGB HFC 06
- CQWW SSB – M8C
Other things which have been happening I won first place single operator phone only low power in IARU HF World Championship in 2005! Which I’m really proud about not sure If I’ve done the same for 2006 just have to wait and see I guess.
What does 2007 hold I really do not know, its going to be any busy year at university in a couple of weeks I’ve got 2 exams coming up at university, then semester two starts. Radio wise I’m completely unsure what is going to be happen this is going to be a busy year with University so I’m just going to have to play it by ear.
