As of Monday 11th December 2006, I now have one of the UK life-time licences what does it really mean for me? not an awful lot I’ve now got access to 10m and also amateur satellites which is a bonus! the new web based system overall is a great idea, but the current systems got quite a few errors/bugs which need looking into which I’m sure ofcom will do.
Hopefully I’ll be able to make some contacts on 10m during the weekend, I finish university tomorrow for Christmas so should be able to fit doing some radio in!! 😎
